Where is momofuku toronto

Would recommend but it is an expensive experience so be mindful of that. Part of the Momofuku Restaurant Group, Shoto was an experience of a dinner. Seeing that there were 3 restaurants plus a MilkBar all in one building, I knew that I had to try it all. The tasting menu at Shoto is definitely the top experience, but there is something to be said for the large format dinner on the same level.

I thought that the food was inventive and fun, the service staff was on point especially the somm. I would heartily recommend this tasting menu and plan on coming back again soon.

The food was incredible - although my friend and my stomach started hurting after eating it. Not sure what caused it. Great service and food, which is quite unique and innovative. However, a little heavy on the salt. Great experience to sit around the kitchen on bar stools while the chef and his staff prepare your food in front of you. Interesting combinations of flavours and textures. We waited too long to try Shoto! We will be back in 7 weeks with the menu change! Awesome food from start to finish Great staff.

Incredible experience! Took my girlfriend here for her 30th birthday. It was both of ours first experience with a tasting menu and we were blown away. Amazing food, excellent staff and chefs, and all around awesome experience. Would recommend this experience to any one and the tasting menu is absolutely worth the price! Loved the food and the chefs, a,though the first few courses came before our cocktail, which I don't like The other thing is why ask if it's a special, occasion if you don't acknowledge it.

It was our 29th wedding anniversary on that date yet no one except the two couples beside us iacknowledged it. Why bother asking.?

The Matre d. Said everyone has a special occasion, which kind of insulted me. Would it have killed you guys to offer up two glasses of prosecco? I think not.

Many other restaurants do and the customer is not paying. Just something for you guys to think about. We had a wonderful evening and the tasting menu was delisious! It was mesmerizing to watch all the chefs at work! This was my second time at Shoto's Chef Tasting.

I love being able to watch them make the dish in front of you and the explanation of each dish. The service and food is exceptional. I would highly recommend the Chef's tasting. Been a number of times. This time was lacking. Under seasoned. Wine pairings were only ok and how they were presented was rushed and ill-informed. I'll be back because I've enjoyed the previous visits. If it happens again, I'll need to reassess. Amazing experience.

Definitely give it a try. Had flowers delivered for my wife. Restaurant told delivery person I had no reservation. Florist was across the street. I ask for the restaurant to run across the street and pick up the flowers. They refused. I had to pick them up myself. Surprise ruined.

All the staff here are really looking forward to this and I personally can't wait. At Blood Brothers, they're serving a new Pork Katsu Sando, which is a baguette with whipped nduja, panko-fried pork belly, cilantro and pickled daikon. When Stackt can serve items from their large outdoor pavilion again, their Momofuku menu will include the return of the limited chilled spicy noodle with Sichuan beef sausage, black bean sauce and candied cashews.

The press release also says the intention of these pop-ups were to expand the restaurant's presence outside of the Financial District while offering the Toronto community a safe outdoor alternative.

Momofuku 's main location is also operating for takeout and delivery from Wednesday to Sunday, 5 p. Check with Stackt for their post lockdown hours. Join the conversation Load comments. Please do not try sichuan spick noodle Do not try desserts, I tried peach pie, not too bad, but not restaurant level, its grocery level. They closed cookies bar, some cookies on menu, but I did not want to try, nothing special. They did not offer coffee, said machine broke.

No, not machine broke, the restaurant never offered coffee not because machine. Do not lie to. After watching David Chang's Netflix shows, we were excited to try Momofuku. The dine in experience may add more value. However, the food itself was not special. We tried a few ramen dishes chicken and potato If you're looking for a good ramen place, I'd keep looking. Back in pre-COVID times, when there was a long wait to snag a table, we finally got in on a cold day for soup, and it was well worth the hype.

Even for a busy lunch period, the service was efficient and fast. So good We each enjoyed the two types of ramen that we ordered, and dessert was also fantastic.

Surprisingly not expensive, either, for a much-anticipated, much-talked-about David Chang star vehicle in downtown Toronto. Every great dinner service is an experience and that experience starts with how you are greeted. Unfortunately, the hostess had a very poor attitude, when all we had said was hello!

If I owned this place, I would re-train staff on how to treat paying customers, or hire those that can do it well. Ultimately, I will not be back. And will not be recommending this restaurant to others due to the poor service attached to the expensive price tag. Yes you have to get the noodles at noodle bar, but also order some of their fishes the halibut crudo we got it was so delicious that it was quite memorable for sometime after the day.

David Change definitely knows how to do ramen. Love everything about the ramen and the cocktails are refreshing and not pricey at all! The milk bar section also serves delicious cookies :. We were in Toronto for 3 nights and visited momofuko 2 times. This is not your regular ramen restaurant, the service and food is top notch. I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Toronto. At our second visit to momofuko, the waiter, Ludavik Overall, really good dining experience-at an affordable price-a must eat in Toronto.

Got trying lots of the menu and this was the most dissapointing Flights Vacation Rentals Restaurants Things to do. Skip to main content. Sign in to get trip updates and message other travelers.
